Perast is a charming waterside village situated in one of the most beautiful and important locations on the Bay of Kotor. It has wonderfully preserved Mediterranean charm being almost entirely made up of up of old houses, palaces, piazzas and churches. The views from the shoreline and of the surrounding mountains are stunning.

The Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska) in Montenegro is generally accepted as the most beautiful bay in the Mediterranean and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The calm turquoise water you see is actually the Adriatic Sea which is perfect for swimming, diving or sailing.
In summer the village comes alive with open air cafés, restaurants serving local fish and visiting boats. The average temperature in Perast is 18.3°C, and the number of sunny days around 240. Winters are mild and short with December days still bright and crisp.

The fortified town of Kotor, with its labyrinth of tiny streets filled with bars, shops, open air cafes and hidden piazzas – is just 18 km away. Kotor is also a UNESCO world heritage site and a beautiful and romantic city to visit.
